New York City has always been one of my favorite places in the world, so I was so excited to hear that we would be venturing into Central Park for James & Kelly’s engagement session. The energy of the city always feeds into the shoot and the park held extra meaning for these two since James proposed here just a few months before! I couldn’t wait to create a few black & white shots too because…well…black & white and New York are the best combination of all time. We spent the entire evening together, taking our time winding through the park’s iconic features as well as finding some quiet space within the Shakespeare Rose Garden.

We ended our night in the city by going out for some amazing New York pizza together following the shoot (thank you both!). I can’t wait to capture James & Kelly’s wedding in Morristown, NJ next summer- not only were they total naturals in front of the camera but they are so much fun to hang out with!
