You know it was a fun day when you get back into your car and find glitter all over your seats from transporting the bride and bridesmaids to the first look! Kelly had been dreaming of this day forever- and was truly one of the most excited (and sparkly!) brides I have ever worked with.

Kelly & James’ wedding day at Cross Estate Gardens & The Westin Governor Morris in Morristown, NJ was full of thoughtful details, excitement, and tons of color. The summer bouquets of flowers up against the bridesmaids’ ice blue dresses and Kelly’s stunning beaded gown made for a gorgeous combination, and they were even more beautiful amongst the gardens. Over the years, I have done countless sessions at Cross Estate Gardens, but I had never seen it overflowing with so many flowers before. It was the perfect backdrop and pop of color for their day since the sun decided to hide behind the clouds! The photos of their first look between the blooms are some of my favorites from their day.

But aside from the flowers, the glitter, and all the pretty little details, this day was about two people making a promise to always take care of one another, as they always have. Kelly & James’ wedding was a genuine and joyful celebration of the things they value most in life; their love, family, and friendships. They honored these values with a personalized ceremony officiated by James’ best friend Vince, a fun bridal party that was ready to celebrate alongside them all night long (they really went all out singing and dancing, especially when Backstreet Boys came on), and sweet parent dances that invited all parents and children to join them on the dance floor.

We even captured a little wedding day luck- some late night rain! It was a joy to be able to capture these memories.
