Carolyn & Alec’s elegant and joyful wedding day was another bright spot in the craziness of 2020! Their big wedding plans may have changed, but they decided to hold on to their originally planned wedding date and still get married with close family and friends in attendance. They exchanged vows at St. Ignatius of Loyola on the campus of Boston College, and the incredible architecture was such a beautiful backdrop for this important day. We followed their ceremony with some just married portraits in Larz Anderson Park in Brookline, and soon they were off in the trolley to go celebrate at a dinner party!

You’ll also notice a cute old dog named Gooner in the getting ready photos; Carolyn gladly shared the spotlight with her for a few moments. She’s a sweet old soul (18 years old!) who was perfectly content hanging out with the girls as her big sister became a bride that morning; she even sported a tiny yet festive lavender bow to match the bridal party. Gooner peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge this summer soon after the wedding, so we were all so glad that Carolyn and her family have these happy memories of their furry bridal party (& family) member joining in on the wedding fun.
