I have been able to photograph these sweet siblings a few times now and I have loved watching them grow over the years.

There are a few reasons why I love this shoot so much. One being her red cowgirl boots (a given) because they are adorable and are SO “big sister.” I can picture her looking back on these photos with a smile someday when she is all grown up. I also love that we took a 5 minute intermission in the freezing cold to eat what was left of a bag of sour patch kids that she found in her pocket (these random funny moments are my favorite parts of family sessions). And, I love that her little brother almost immediately got grass stains on his pants because that’s just what little boys do, and the fact that their mom and dad laughed it off as being an accurate representation of a day in the life with two playful little kids.
