I made my way up the coast a few weeks ago to meet Jacqui and Sam at Acadia National Park and was blown away by how beautiful it was there. It was the perfect backdrop for such an adventurous couple (their first few dates were races…see the save the date medals below!) and they were always ready to trek anywhere I asked them to for the sake of gorgeous Maine views. We started off hiking through the woods to get to Jordan Pond, then spent some time on Sand Beach and Otter Cliffs, and ended up on the top of Cadillac mountain for sunset photos- which are some of my favorites from that night.

I was so excited when Jacqui & Sam walked out in their hiking clothes for the last set of photos. These two have been on endless adventures together so it felt right to capture their love in that natural, casual way. I am so looking forward to shooting their wedding next summer in the mountains. After we finished shooting, we decided to hang out for the remainder of the sunset with the rest of these light chasers. Such a gorgeous view.
