Jessica & Matt had such a spectacular fall evening celebrating with loved ones at their Rosecliff Mansion wedding in Newport, RI. During his toast, the father of the bride told the sweetest story that when Jessica was a little girl on vacation in Newport, and heard that Rosecliff hosted weddings, she immediately knew where she wanted to get married someday. Fast forward to November 2024, her dream wedding came true with her best friend by her side, and I was lucky enough to document it all! First, we spent the morning getting ready in downtown Newport before departing on the trolley to their traditional church wedding ceremony at St. Joseph’s. Once they were pronounced husband and wife, we made our way over to Rosecliff just in time for golden hour and took advantage of the spectacular grounds for their portraits.

Clearly, Jessica was an absolutely glowing bride and was smiling nonstop with Matt by her side. We even lucked out with a colorful November sunset just before heading inside as the festivities began. The extravagant ballroom was decorated flawlessly by Michelle Jeanne Floral Design with classic white and green florals, and was exactly the elegant wedding reception Jessica dreamed of. After speeches, Matt surprised Jessica with a solo performance, taking over the piano from the band and serenading her in front of all of their guests. Such a fun surprise to document and a memory they’ll always love to look back on. It was the best way to open up the dance floor for family and friends to celebrate into the night.
