Tara & Marcus had their hearts set on their wedding being different than your traditional wedding day. They envisioned a more relaxed vibe with a focus on all of the fun and everything that truly matters, and to minimize stress so they could simply enjoy and be present. They pulled it off and then some!

Their wedding took place at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum, with their ceremony out in a large, open field under a tree. They were pronounced husband & wife and the celebrations began at cocktail hour amongst beautiful gardens. Later on, their guests were treated to dinner & dancing, but not your typical meals. They brought in several food trucks that parked outside of the tent for the rest of the evening. Lobster rolls, BBQ, Tacos….and the grand finale, a donut truck for dessert! After tasting the delicious food, their guests went straight to the dance floor. We saw some amazing dance moves and had so much fun capturing their friends and family!

Tara is kind, friendly, and sincere, and has found her perfect match in Marcus who could be described in the exact same way. I was thrilled from the moment she first emailed me and could not wait to be able to capture this day, knowing it would certainly be a reflection of their fun-loving, gentle, genuine spirits.
