A little change of scenery- a maternity session in Washington State! I flew out to the west coast to visit my best friend before her baby girl arrives this summer for some quality time together. Back when I was first starting my own business, Lauren & Jake were my very first official clients (!!!) so it was so special for me to be able to give them an updated photoshoot of their little family before their sweet girl arrives. Lauren has always been my “through thick and thin” best friend, and to see her pregnant and feel her baby doing somersaults in that perfect belly was surreal. Before heading off to Seattle for the day, we captured these maternity photos with her husband and black lab by the water near their home to document this phase of their lives.

Lauren & Jake have already had so many big adventures together in life, but something tells me this little girl will be the greatest of them all. Enjoy a few of my favorite photos from our time together. Words can’t describe how much this baby will be loved by us all!
