Brett and Briana’s fall wedding day by the beautiful lake at North Shore House in Newton, NJ was absolutely stunning! Fall foliage, a beautiful church, colorful fall flowers…it was an incredible day to capture, but it was also just a joy to be a part of because of this awesome couple. Their wedding originally planned for April 2020 was my very first wedding of the year impacted by the coronavirus. After two date changes and a lot of patience, they finally got married on a beautiful October day. Their intimate ceremony at St. Mary’s Catholic Church were some of my favorite shots of the day, with the glowy light shining through the surrounding stained glass windows (and Brett’s reaction to seeing his bride…come on! So good!). I was tempted to capture every which way the light played with beautiful Briana in her beaded gown and her special veil (gifted to her by her mom), one scenario was even prettier than the last! But her veil illuminated behind her as she walked out of the church with her husband may be my favorite veil photo of them all!

After they were pronounced husband and wife, we traveled over to their stunning reception location at the North Shore House. We were surrounded with picturesque views of the lake outlined by gorgeous fall color for some just married portraits as the sun went down. There are so many photos I love, two of my very favorites are the sparkler exit at the end of the night and the most incredible sunset shot by my second shooter, Nino, with their tiny silhouettes by the lake with the last drop of light left from the sunset.

Such a gorgeous day to be a part of with the most lovely and genuine people. Thank you to Brett & Briana for having me there with you to capture your special, long-awaited day. You are finally married!
