We were lucky enough to have one of the prettiest sunsets of the summer on the evening of these family photos in Newport, RI. We started out with a glowing golden hour and by the end of the session, the sky put on a show of ever-changing colors. It was truly spectacular!

Their little boy was all smiles and ready to be the star of the show. His adorable fluffy hair glowing in the sunlight is one of my favorite parts of the shoot. He caught the attention of multiple passersby on the beach; all commenting on how cute he was. He was thrilled to play with his mom and dad and splash in the waves, and flashed smile after smile at me! As you can see, his parents would light up at the sight of his happy face. These memories will be so sweet to look back on years from now.

As a Rhode Island family photographer, this beach is one of my favorite locations for family photos in Newport with kids. The grassy dunes, an expansive sandy shore for playing, and rolling waves make for a perfect beach backdrop. Enjoy a few of my favorite photos from this summer family session in Rhode Island!
