I’m always a fan of pulling in details from your relationship and love how Molly and Matt incorporated Matt’s hockey jersey from William & Mary- their alma matter (where it all began!). They were always being themselves and having fun with each other, which really translates through photos. 

It’s such a unique time to capture, especially with a little one who is also waiting for the baby to arrive. I love the images we created; they show so much love and excitement between their little family. And how beautiful are Lindsey’s solo portraits? They made me love snowy sessions!  Enjoy this look into their maternity family session. It’s the sweetest! 

Baby Dylan’s lifestyle newborn session was full of energy. She had no interest in sleeping- probably because she doesn’t want to miss a minute of her big brother and big sister. She was ready to be awake and checking out the world around her. Her session features adorable outfits picked out by her big sister, her big brother who LOVES the camera, and sweet cuddles with her mom and dad.

Here’s a glimpse of some of my favorite  moments we spent together this year…

As I begin to reflect back on 2016 and all of the moments I’ve shared with so many families & couples, this photo sticks out as one of my favorites. She looks like the happiest baby in the world, like she knows how much her mom & dad love her. She looks thrilled to be right there, together, in that exact moment.

Baby Alex made his grand entrance into the world 3 weeks ago and could not be any cuter. Aside from being so well behaved, he’s also got the greatest head of hair and bright little eyes. He has been surrounded with love and has a very excited big sister, so its safe to say he’s off to a good start here in the world. 

This crew is like family to me- their mom was my babysitter and unbiological big sister growing up, so I love being able to spend the morning with them each year to capture these memories and catch up. This session out in their backyard features sparkling holiday dresses, the cutest photobomber I’ve ever seen, and some sweet little smiles. Enjoy these highlights of Team Colonna! 

At home sessions just give a little extra meaning to the photos, and I feel that it shows. After getting some shots outside in the backyard, their mom had a great idea to capture the kids up in their rooms to give more of a lifestyle feel. I love these shots because they will be so special for the kids to look back on. A glimpse of what they were like as little kids.

It’s hard to believe that Thanksgiving has come and gone already. This time of year is crazy busy finishing up sessions in time for the holidays! As I’m slowly digging myself out of a never ending list of editing, I wanted to share a session with a family that I am certainly thankful for.
