Every layer of their Rhode Island wedding day was personal and meaningful, and such a reflection of them as a couple. Some highlights: Heather’s unique jewelry, their intimate first look, special family cars, and their fun bridal party that they love like family. The morning of the wedding, the girls were busy getting ready at Meredith’s family’s home, and suddenly the sun came out. The rain stopped. High winds started to wind down to a nice breeze. Almost as if it was perfectly timed to let the celebrations begin…We now had a picture-perfect day for a wedding by the water on our hands!

I traveled down to Ridgewood Country Club in New Jersey to photograph the wedding day of Betta & Kevin this August. Their black & white summer wedding was a beautifully classy affair focused on their marriage in Kevin’s childhood church and followed by a joyful reception with friends and family.

Dana & Brandon’s wedding day at the Duxbury Bay Maritime School was beautiful from start to finish, and wedding day luck was in no shortage for these two. First, a kind soul allowed us to use their amazing private beach for their first look when he noticed another wedding in the spot we had originally planned for, and then thick clouds cleared just in time for their outdoor ceremony on the water (so beautiful!)

This strong little girl decided she couldn’t wait to meet her parents, so she wanted to surprise them a little early! She was the sweetest thing and was busy catching up on some sleep during our session, which in turn made her quite the baby model. Her beautiful nursery was the perfect backdrop for this lifestyle newborn session… loved being able to capture her in that space that her mom and dad thoughtfully created to prepare for her arrival home… it is what lifestyle nursery session dreams are made of when paired with that tiny little bundle.

First, we stopped at the incredible Castle Hill Inn for photos at the lighthouse on their sprawling property. There’s no shortage of New England charm on those picturesque cliffs on the water. We then drove through Newport over to Sachuest Beach for golden hour and sunset. The sky decided to show off and lit up in a rainbow of pastel colors for their photos! We are looking forward to their wedding on the Duxbury Bay waterfront in Massachusetts this August.
