I kicked off spring sessions with one of my 2019 couples, Erin & Brendan, at the Cross Estate Gardens this April. It’s one of my top favorite locations for sessions and we won the spring engagement session lottery that day… warm weather, no wind, no rain, and some colorful blooms! That combination almost never happens in the early spring but we certainly took advantage of the beautiful day. The next time Erin & Brendan are in front of my camera it will be December as they become husband and wife! I am thrilled to be working with this sweet couple, and I already cannot wait to capture their winter wedding at Hamilton Farms in New Jersey.

There were always golden retrievers in my home growing up, so I understand how much of a part of the family your dog can be. They are the furry, four-legged family member who shows unconditional love. Maybe they were your first “baby” before kids arrived. Or maybe you got the dog to help your child make friends. Or, you might just be dog people and can’t have a home without one running for the door when you walk in! Whatever the reason…they are a part of your story too.

This engagement session was one of those shoots that I just could not wait to upload and start editing after shooting! New York was SO good to us that afternoon. While it was a windy and cold November day, Shannon & Mike were total troopers, and that beautiful fall evening light was amazing to shoot in as it illuminated all the fall colors in the park. 

The stars aligned for us this past weekend for Marie & Pete’s engagement session in Falmouth on Cape Cod and the photos prove it! A blend of rustic fall colors with gorgeous Cape Cod ocean landscapes created the most beautiful backdrop for these two who were clearly meant to be together. 

Kaylie & Brian’s engagement session on the water in gorgeous Narragansett, Rhode Island made all my photographer dreams come true. SO many friends and followers have messaged me following the sneak peeks saying they love Kaylie & Brian’s style, how cute they are together, and how much they love the special guest, Abe the pug!

I made my way up the coast a few weeks ago to meet Jacqui and Sam at Acadia National Park and was blown away by how beautiful it was there. It was the perfect backdrop for such an adventurous couple.

Sarah & Matt decided on Hoboken, the city where they fell in love, as the location for their engagement session! We covered so much of the town in our time together…from Pier A Park, to Sinatra Drive, Court Street, and adorable brownstone neighborhoods… we wanted to make sure we got ALL of the charm of Hoboken featured in this shoot (and Sarah walked it all in her heels…trooper!).

New York City has always been one of my favorite places in the world, so I was so excited to hear that we would be venturing into Central Park for James & Kelly’s engagement session. The energy of the city always feeds into the shoot and the park held extra meaning for these two since James proposed here just a few months before!

I’m always a fan of pulling in details from your relationship and love how Molly and Matt incorporated Matt’s hockey jersey from William & Mary- their alma matter (where it all began!). They were always being themselves and having fun with each other, which really translates through photos.
