You won’t believe that this bright & airy beach wedding happened on a freezing cold day in mid November when you see these photos! Andrea & Jay’s wedding day at Newport Beach House was stunning. This venue is definitely on my list of favorites; the chic decor and bright spaces in addition to the amazing beachfront property made for photogenic backdrops everywhere you turn. Add Andrea & Jay to the mix and it was all really a photographer’s dream. Whether the fun swinging chairs outside, the glowing golden hour light, or the sunset peeking through the windows during their first dance… it was a day where each and every photo was fun to create.

After we captured portraits by the ocean immediately following their ceremony at the Watch Hill Chapel, these two pulled away in their Porsche in the drizzling rain with a just married sign on the back. We took a few more shots as they drove off and a man standing on the side of the road asked if we were shooting a commercial. It was THAT beautiful. But we weren’t shooting a commercial; it was a real life, as good as it gets, kind of love story.

At the very end of the night, Kaylie and Brian said that they wouldn’t have done a single thing about their wedding day differently. Their New England wedding at Beauport Hotel in Gloucester was beyond beautiful- classy nautical details, shades of blue and green, Beauport beach cruisers, a BHLDN gown, and simple white bouquets made the artist in me so excited to get creative as I saw Kaylie’s vision come to life. But most of all, I was so excited to capture the two of them on this day that they had been waiting on for what seemed like forever, because they are truly perfect for one another. Kaylie & Brian are awesome said they trusted my judgement for what would tell the story of their day best, so I let my creativity run wild!

This was one of those wedding days that I wish we could do again and again. I loved their fun bridal party, the energy of their ceremony sparkler exit, and the excitement of their family and friends that kept the party going all night. The event itself at Stone House at Stirling Ridge was beautiful and unique- the floral design complimented by family photos, all of the meaningful touches that Shannon’s mom planned…

Kelly & James’ wedding was a genuine and joyful celebration of the things they value most in life; their love, family, and friendships. They honored these values with a personalized ceremony officiated by James’ best friend Vince, a fun bridal party that was ready to celebrate alongside them all night long (they really went all out singing and dancing, especially when Backstreet Boys came on), and sweet parent dances that invited all parents and children to join them on the dance floor.

Jacqui & Sam just may be the most adventurous people I know- and their wedding day was such a reflection of their adventurous kindred spirits. In mid July, we all gathered in Roxbury, NY for their wedding weekend in the mountains to celebrate. Scattered thunderstorms were hopping around the forecast and we had to take a deep breath and hope for the best. Sure enough, Saturday afternoon came around and all of their guests took the chairlift up to the summit at Plattekill Mountain to witness the official start of Jacqui & Sam’s marriage.

When recounting their love story, they noted that every day together since they began dating has been a blessing and filled with endless laughter. Their wedding was no different. From start to finish, their day was filled with immeasurable joy, romance, and emotion. All of the details planned were stunning against their bright and airy venue, Willowbend Country Club- the ice blue mismatched dresses, the beautiful, natural florals, Marie’s extraordinary gown-the day could not have been any prettier. I could photograph Marie’s bridal details for hours! However, the joyful energy that lived within each and every person there was what made this day even more special.

There were always golden retrievers in my home growing up, so I understand how much of a part of the family your dog can be. They are the furry, four-legged family member who shows unconditional love. Maybe they were your first “baby” before kids arrived. Or maybe you got the dog to help your child make friends. Or, you might just be dog people and can’t have a home without one running for the door when you walk in! Whatever the reason…they are a part of your story too.

Molly & Matt, as individuals and as a couple, are as good as it gets. They are hilarious, genuine, kind, and definitely know how to have fun together. Their beautiful fall wedding day was so clearly a direct reflection of this. Full of lighthearted fun, huge smiles, hilarious yet heartwarming speeches, a tireless dance floor, and a room packed full of loved ones who were thrilled to celebrate the undoubtedly perfect match Molly & Matt have found in one another.

Rainy skies cleared for the most perfect June beach weather for Alex & Lea’s wedding in Asbury Park, which set the tone for an amazing day. We started out on the boardwalk for bride & groom portraits incorporating the unique artwork and old architecture (this boardwalk is one of my all time favorite spots to photograph!) before heading over to Porta to get the celebrations underway.
