So grateful that these friends of mine from Stonehill College trusted me to capture such special memories of their new baby. This tiny little one was too cute while cuddled up with her two favorite people in the world. A new chapter began for them when this sweet girl arrived and I loved every moment of documenting some of their early days as a family of three! A little boy so very loved & cherished by all from the moment my dear friend shared her pregnancy announcement. Being able to photograph some of the best people I know as parents with their new addition is so special. This strong little girl decided she couldn’t wait to meet her parents, so she wanted to surprise them a little early! She was the sweetest thing and was busy catching up on some sleep during our session, which in turn made her quite the baby model. Her beautiful nursery was the perfect backdrop for this lifestyle newborn session… loved being able to capture her in that space that her mom and dad thoughtfully created to prepare for her arrival home… it is what lifestyle nursery session dreams are made of when paired with that tiny little bundle.

A little change of scenery- a maternity session in Washington State! I flew out to the west coast to visit my best friend before her baby girl arrives this summer for some quality time together. Back when I was first starting my own business, Lauren & Jake were my very first official clients (!!!) so it was so special for me to be able to give them an updated photoshoot of their little family before their sweet girl arrives. Lauren has always been my through thick-and-thin best friend, and to see her pregnant and feel her baby doing somersaults in that perfect belly was surreal.

I love the uniqueness of each shoot with lifestyle newborn sessions inspired by the baby’s nursery and their family. This sweet girl was quite the cooperative little model for me and I loved incorporating their furry family member, Lucy, into the shoot as well for some family portraits.

Kaylin was a bridesmaid in one of my previous weddings so I was thrilled to reconnect with her and her husband for their maternity session. It was such a beautiful fall day in Boston so we wandered our way through Beacon Hill for that quintessential Boston vibe and walked over to the Boston Public Garden. The famous ducklings even made their way into the session.

There were always golden retrievers in my home growing up, so I understand how much of a part of the family your dog can be. They are the furry, four-legged family member who shows unconditional love. Maybe they were your first “baby” before kids arrived. Or maybe you got the dog to help your child make friends. Or, you might just be dog people and can’t have a home without one running for the door when you walk in! Whatever the reason…they are a part of your story too.
