Rachel & Ken had to postpone their 2020 wedding and waited until July 2021 when they could have the big wedding day celebration that they originally dreamed of at The Ryland Inn! It was worth the wait and the party never stopped. When I first arrived to the getting ready suite, Rachel and her bridesmaids and flower girls were already dancing & popping champagne, and this joy and energy carried on throughout the entire day. It was also one of the rainiest weddings I have ever photographed! Tropical storm Elsa left us dodging puddles and hiding out under cover, but the rain certainly didn’t stop the fun.

Jess & Brandon’s wedding day was a true celebration. Plans for an outdoor ceremony and photos at the Scituate Lighthouse were quickly changed with the forecast, and yet the pouring rain didn’t phase them at all…their smiles never left their faces! I’ve loved working with them from the very beginning (you may remember our engagement shoot at Stonehill College) and it was a joy to be a part of their big day.

Mia & Lance had a gorgeous wedding day in Mia’s hometown of Narragansett, Rhode Island. I loved capturing her getting ready at her childhood home with her bridesmaids and family. A morning of celebrating the beautiful bride flew by and we were suddenly off to the chapel. South Ferry Church was such a lovely setting for Mia & Lance to exchange vows, and is definitely one of my favorite churches I have ever photographed in! After they were pronounced husband & wife, & many long overdue hugs with friends and family later, we made our way over to the towers in Narragansett for portraits and then finally to the Atlantic Resort at Wyndham Newport.

The colorful foliage really pulled through for Julie & Adam on their beautiful October wedding day in Julie’s hometown of Barrington, Rhode Island. Every possible fall color was on display that weekend, which was perfect for this bride who has always dreamed of a fall wedding! After a traditional ceremony at St. Luke’s Parish in Barrington, they went over to Kirkbrae Country Club for a tented reception to celebrate.

After they were pronounced husband and wife, we traveled over to their stunning reception location at the North Shore House. We were surrounded with picturesque views of the lake outlined by gorgeous fall color for some just married portraits as the sun went down.

Kristy & Paul had a picture-perfect Rhode Island wedding day, starting in the heart of downtown Providence for a traditional ceremony at Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul before heading over to Warwick Country Club to celebrate the newlyweds on the water.

We started with getting ready at Erin’s family home and the guys over at the Ocean House in Watch Hill, then off to their ceremony at St. Clare’s in Westerly, over to Erin’s family’s favorite beach for some portraits, and finally off to the incredible Shelter Harbor Golf Club to celebrate!

The island is so important to Kelsey, Max, and their families. Their love story began on the island years ago, so this day was destined to be special. There was a slightly daunting forecast slated for Kelsey & Max’s wedding day at the Spring House, and while the morning started out grey and rainy, it transformed as the day went on thanks to a strike of wedding day luck! We were so thrilled to capture portraits out on the lawn of the Spring House with the views of Block Island, and to end the night with an epic cotton candy sunset.

Carolyn & Alec’s elegant and joyful wedding day was another bright spot in the craziness of 2020! Their big wedding plans may have changed, but they decided to hold on to their originally planned wedding date and still get married with close family and friends in attendance. They exchanged vows at St. Ignatius of Loyola church on the campus of Boston College, and the incredible architecture was such a beautiful backdrop for this important day.
